2 H and 13 C-labelled bromodichloromethane and chlorodibromomethane were obtained in yields of 20 and 12% (for 2 H) and 6 and 3% (for 13 C) respectively from a convenient aluminumchloride-catalyzedreaction of bromoethane with commercially-available isotopically-substituted chloroform.
