reaction of heteroarylchlorides in the pyrimidine, pyrazine and quinazoline series with amines in water in the presence of KF results in a facile SNAr reaction and N‐arylation. The reaction is less satisfactory with pyridines unless an additional electron‐withdrawing group is present.
