this study, 4‐(5‐chloro‐2(3H)‐benzoxazolone‐3‐yl)butanoic acid and its ethyl ester as well as its ten new amide derivatives have been synthesized. Their structures have been elucidated by IR, 1H‐NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The compounds were screened for antinociceptive and anti‐inflammatory activities.
