Some 5-alkyl- and 5-halogeno-2'-deoxyuridine 3',5'-cyclic mono- phosphate P-O-alkyl(aralkyl) esters have been prepared from the silver salts of the parent cyclic monophosphates and alkyl(aralkyl) iodides.
