    Metal-Free Radical-Mediated C(sp3)–H Heteroarylation of Alkanes
    摘要:
    Herein we disclose a metal-free, N/O-centered radical-promoted Minisci reaction, in which the coupling of various heteroarenes with simple alkanes proceeds under mild conditions. The reaction conditions are neutral; no extra acid is added to preactivate N-heteroarenes in the Minisci reaction. The N-/O-centered radicals are generated directly from amide (TsNHMe) or alcohol (CF3CH2OH) under visible-light irradiation. This green and eco-friendly synthetic process may find potential use in medicinal chemistry.

    This invention pertains to epoxy resins having increased chemical resistance to solvents, and good cured mechanical properties which are prepared by curing the epoxy resins with a curing agent comprising a mixture of methylene bridged poly(cyclohexyl-aromatic)amines. The methylene bridged poly(cyclohexyl-aromatic)amine curing agents are the residue obtained from the distillation of a mixture of poly(cyclohexyl-aromatic)amines formed by the hydrogenation of crude methylenedianiline or crude di(4-amino-3-methylcyclohexyl)methane.

    This invention relates to improved polyepoxide resins cured with a mixture of methylene bridged poly(cycloaliphatic-aromatic)amines and a process for preparing such polyepoxide resins as well as to the methylene bridged poly(cycloaliphatic-aromatic)amine compositions and a method of making them. The improvement resides in using a curative (herein referred to as "Heavy MPCA") comprised of the partially hydrogenated condensation product of formaldehyde and aniline or methyl substituted aniline containing a substantial amount (from 35 to 85% by weight, preferably 40 to 60% by weight) of oligomers in the form of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 aniline or methyl substituted aniline derivatives.
