  Disclosed are novel dihydrobenzopyran compounds useful as antiarrhythmic and antifibrillatory agents. The compounds have a structure according to formula (A), or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt, or biohydrolyzable amide, ester, or imide thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are as defined in the specification.
