The compound was prepared by adding an ammonium pertechnectate solution to a 10% v/v thioglycolate solution (pH and .5), waiting 10m, then adding a 30 wt % solution of Bu/sub 4/NBr. The yellow-brown precipitate was purified by recrystallization. Intensity measurements were made on a diffractometer employing a THETA to 2 THETA scan and graphite monochromatized molybdenum-potassium ..cap alpha.. radiation
