Mesomorphic properties of multi-arm chenodeoxycholic acid-derived liquid crystals

摘要 采用会聚法合成了四种基于鹅去氧胆酸的多臂液晶 (LCs),分别称为 2G-PD、2G-IB、2G-BD 和 5G-GC,其中向列液晶、6-(4 -((4-乙氧基苯甲酰基)氧基)苯氧基)-6-氧代己酸,用作侧臂,鹅去氧胆酸(CDCA)用作第一核,1,2-丙二醇(PD),异山梨醇(IB), 4,4'-联苯二醇(BD)和葡萄糖(GC)分别用作第二个核心。第一代产品CDCA2EA 显示胆甾相。第二代产品2G-BD和5G-GC显示胆甾相,而2G-PD和2G-IB显示向列相。尽管两个核心都是手性核心,但多臂 LC 2G-IB 没有显示胆甾相。结果表明,当胆甾型CDCA衍生物引入第二核时,第二核的手性有时使多臂LC显示向列相。除了为多手性核 LC 引入手性核以获得胆甾相外,还应注意分子构象。
