The invention provides new monoazo and disazo dyestuffs of the general formulae
and their 1:1-copper complex, 1:2-cobalt complex and 1:2-chromium complex derivatives, in which M is hydrogen or an alkali metal, Y a vinyl group or is an ethyl group substituted in the β-position by a substituent which can be split off by means of an alkali, E is a 1,4-phenylene or 1,4-naphthylene radical which is optionally substituted by specific substituents, or is a 2,6- or 2,7-naphthylene radical which is substituted in the 1-position by a hydroxy group and substituted by 1 or 2 sulfo groups, and K is the radical of specific coupling components selected from the acetoacetyl-anilide, naphthol, pyrazolone, aniline, pyridone and naphthylamine series.
These monoazo and disazo compounds and the mentioned metal-complex derivatives have very good fibre-reactive dyestuff properties and are suitable for dyeing carbonamide and/or hydroxy groups containing material, in particular cellulose fibre material, according to application and fixation methods usual in the art for fibre-reactive dyes.
