synthesis of enantiopure unsymmetrical N-heterocyclic based zwitterions incorporating imidazolinium and alkylsulfonate or sulfamate groups is described. The desired compounds were prepared in good yields from 1,3-propanesultone or cyclic sulfamidates and imidazolines.
