  Using the Horner-Wittig reaction, aldehydes I and II were converted, with high E-selectivity, into ethyl esters of substituted acrylic acids, VI and VII. The N-anions generated by deprotonation of derivative I-V with sodium hydride in tetrahydrofuran reacted with vinyltriphenylphosphonium bromide with the formation of derivatives of pyrrolo[1,2-a]ergoline-I, XI-XV.

  2-Formylergoline derivatives I and II were condensed with methyl isonitrilacetate in the presence of a base. Depending on the nature of this base, the main products of the reaction were either derivatives of pyrimido[1,6-a]ergoline, III and IV, or derivatives of 2-formylamino-3-oxo-3H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]ergoline, V and VI.

  2-甲酰基乙酰胺基甲基异腈和碱存在下，与2-甲酰基麦角酸衍生物I和II缩合。根据碱的性质，反应的主要产物是嘧啶并[1,6-a]麦角酸衍生物III和IV，或2-甲酰氨基-3-氧代-3H-吡咯并[1,2-a]麦角酸衍生物V和VI的衍生物。
