Optically active phosphorothionates (10–20) were synthesised via the following sequence of reactions: (1) ephedrine-methyl-1-naphlhylphosphorothionate diastereoisomers using (−) ephedrine hydrochloride→(2) methyl-1-naphthyl-phosphorothioic acid (+) and (−) enantiomers→(3) methyl-1-naphthyl-chloridophosphorothionate (−) and (+) enantiomers using PCl5→(4) methyl-1-naphthyl alkyl (aryl) phosphorothionates
