It is an intention of the present invention to provide a method of adjusting a calibration reagent that allows to calibrate a measurement device that measures a color under a condition in which the blood color is mixed with the color generated by the chromogenic reagent in contact with a blood component. In addition, another intention of the present invention is to provide a method of adjusting the calibration reagent in order to make it possible to calibrate the measurement device even when the temperature condition at the time of measurement varies.
The present invention provides a method of adjusting a calibration reagent used in calibrating a blood component measurement device designed for optical measurement of a blood component characterized in combining two or more kinds of different dyes and adjusting the calibration reagent in such a way that the properties of the calibration reagent are assimilated with those of blood.
