    A rubber composition obtained by compounding (A) a rubber component comprising 15 to 55% by weight of (i) a modified styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber which is obtained by solution polymerization and has a tin atom introduced into its molecular chain, 45 to 85% by weight of (ii) at least one rubber selected from natural rubber and synthetic isoprene rubbers, and (B) a hydrazide compound. The rubber composition exhibits improved abrasion resistance, heat resistance and low heat generating property and is advantageously used for tread rubber of heavy duty pneumatic tires.

    The present invention relates to a tire characterized by using as a member, a rubber composition comprising (a) a rubber component comprising at least one selected from a natural rubber and a diene base synthetic rubber, (b) silica having a nitrogen-absorbing specific surface area (N2SA) of 180 to 270 m2/g and 0.1 to 10.0 mass parts of (c) a partial ester compound of maleic anhydride and a (poly)oxypropylene derivative per 100 mass parts of the rubber component described above. Further, the present invention relates to a tire characterized by using as a tread rubber, a rubber composition comprising (A) a rubber component comprising a conjugate diene base rubber, (B) a filler comprising 10 mass % or more of a white filler based on the whole fillers and (C) a partial ester compound of maleic anhydride and a (poly)oxypropylene derivative. According to the present invention, capable of being obtained is a tire in which an abrasion resistance and a low heat build-up property are enhanced while improving a processability thereof without causing a reduction in the physical properties of a rubber composition and a problem on a working environment or a tire which is excellent in both of a driving stability and a wet gripping property.

    There is provided a heavy duty tire made by using as a tread rubber a rubber composition obtained by compounding 100 parts by mass of a rubber component consisting of 90-30% by mass of (a) natural rubber and 10-70% by mass of (b) a solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber containing tin in at least one of a middle of a polymer molecular chain and a terminal of the molecular chain and having a bound styrene content of 28-45% by mass and a vinyl bond content in a butadiene portion of less than 30 mol% with 40-60 parts by mass in total of (c) carbon black and (d) silica, provided that an amount of (d) silica as a filler is 5-20 parts by mass. In the heavy duty tire, the resistance to uneven wear is considerably improved without damaging the heat buildup and wear resistance.

    This invention relates to a pneumatic tire in which an appearance during a final stage of running is good and a heat buildup is low, and more particularly to a pneumatic tire comprising a tread portion (3) having a cap rubber (8) and a base rubber (7), characterized in that a rubber composition comprising not less than 30 parts by mass of carbon black and not less than 2 parts by mass of silica based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component is used in the base rubber (7), and the base rubber (7) has a tensile stress at 300% elongation (M300) of 10-14 MPa and a loss tangent (tan δ) of 0.1 or lower.
