    The present invention provides a liquid composition for imparting alcohol-repellency to a semiconductor substrate material, and a method for treating the surface of a semiconductor substrate using the liquid composition, wherein the liquid composition contains: 0.01-15% by mass of a surfactant (A) having a substituent represented by formula (1) (where n is an integer of 3 to 20, inclusive), and an anionic hydrophilic group; and 0.0001-20% by mass of a compound (B) having a weight-average molecular weight of 200-500000 and having 4-30 mmol of an amino group per gram, the compound (B) being selected from the group consisting of compounds having a polyethylenimine and a substituent represented by formula (2) (where R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen or a C1-6 alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, or aryl) or formula (3) (where R3 and R4 are each independently hydrogen or a C1-6 alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, or aryl, and X- is a fluoride ion, a chloride ion, a bromide ion, an iodide ion, a fluoroborate ion, a phosphate ion, an acetate ion, a trifluoroacetate ion, a sulfate ion, a hydrogen sulfate ion, a methane sulfate ion, a hydroxide ion, a perchlorate ion, or a nitrate ion).         CnF2n+1-     (1)

    Provided is a part that has a water-repelling function exhibited by a water-repellent layer, while the appearance of a colored layer (color tone) is maintained. The part includes a base material, a colored layer, an intermediate layer, and a surface layer. The colored layer contains more than 35 at% to 99 at% or less of C, 0 at% or more to less than 40 at% of Cr, 0 at% or more to less than 15 at% of N, and more than 0 at% to less than 15 at% of O, in a profile obtained by an XPS depth direction analysis. The intermediate layer contains at least one metal atom selected from Cr, Zr, and Si; and an oxygen atom. The metal element in an oxidized state is detected. The intermediate layer exhibits a sputtering time of 0.5 minutes or more to 9 minutes or less, the sputtering time being a time taken from when the metal element is detected to when the amount of detected oxygen elements contained in the intermediate layer exceeds the amount of detected oxygen elements (O) contained in the colored layer. The surface layer is water-repellent, and includes a hydrophobic group, and exhibits, in a profile obtained by the XPS depth direction analysis, a sputtering time of more than 0.5 minutes to 5 minutes or less, the sputtering time being a time taken from when the sputtering starts to when the metal atom contained in the intermediate layer starts to be detected.
