  The compounds 1,1-dimethyl-1-silacyclooctane, 1,1-dimethyl-1-silacycloaonane, 1,1-dimethyl-1-silacyclodecane and 1,1-dimethyl-1-silacycloundecane were prepared by a modified Clemmensen reduction of the corresponding silacycloacyloins.
