Superconductivity in Intercalated and Substituted Y2Br2C2
摘要:
Layer compounds of the type Y2X2C2 (X = Cl, Br, I) show superconductivity at temperatures between 2.3 and 11.2 K. The transition temperature is related to the tendency of conduction electrons toward pairwise localization in C2* states at the Fermi level, and changes with the concentration of valence electrons, which is varied by intercalation of Na.
