    摘要:
    Comparison of various laboratory procedures for the synthesis of palladium acetate demonstrated that the purest product containing no nitrite or nitrate impurities is formed in up to 90% yields upon the reaction of palladium nitrate with alkali metal acetates in aqueous acetic acid. Other laboratory syntheses are more labor-consuming and do not ensure high purity of the product. The synthesis by-products are described and possible reaction schemes are proposed.

    The present disclosure relates to a novel photocatalyst composition and a process of using the photocatalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) in water. Palladium doped nano zinc oxide photocatalyst was prepared by zinc nitrate hexahydrate and an ammonium carbonate and the photocatalyst composition demonstrated more than 90-99% degradation of MTBE at room temperatures in a photo catalytic reaction conducted in an oxygen saturated aqueous medium.

    Nitric acid solutions (c(Pd) up to 3.2 M) with variable HNO3 concentration were studied by electronic spectroscopy, N-14 and O-17 NMR, acid-base titration, gravimetry, and other methods. Solid phases that precipitated on storing these solutions were studied by X-ray phase analysis, thermogravimetry, and IR spectroscopy. The conditions for stability of particular Pd(II) species were determined, and specific features of aging of such highly concentrated palladium solutions were revealed. A procedure for palladium isolation as [Pd(NH3)(4)](NO3)(2) from nitric acid solutions in 98% yield was developed.
