  Beschrieben werden neue wässrige Emulsionen enthaltend (A) Carbamato-funktionalisierte Organopolysiloxane, die durchschnittlich je Molekül mindestens eine Carbamato- funktionelle Gruppe Y der Formel -R4-[NX-R5-]nNX-H enthalten, wobei X gleich oder verschieden ist und ein Wasserstoffatom oder einen Rest Z der Formel -CO-O-CHR6-CH2-OH oder -CO-O-CH2-CHR6-OH bedeutet, wobei durchschnittlich je Molekül mindestens ein Rest X ein Rest Z ist, wobei R4 gleich oder verschieden ist und einen zweiwertigen, Si-C-gebundenen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 18 C-Atomen bedeutet, R5 gleich oder unterschiedlich ist und einen zweiwertigen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 6 C-Atomen bedeutet, R6 gleich oder unterschiedlich ist und ein Wasserstoffatom oder einen einwertigen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 36 C-Atomen bedeutet, wobei eine oder mehrere -CH2-Gruppen durch Heteroatome, vorzugsweise durch -O-oder –S-, ersetzt sein können, n gleich 1, 2, 3 oder 4 ist, enthalten, (B) nicht-ionische, Polyethylenoxid-haltige Emulgatoren, die mehr als 40 Ethylenoxid-Einheiten der Formel -CH2-CH2-O- enthalten, und einen HLB-Wert von größer oder gleich 15 aufweisen,und (C) Wasser, wobei die Emulsionen Partikelgrößen von kleiner oder gleich 100 nm (D50) aufweisen.
