[reaction: see text] Diastereoselective [2 + 2] cyclizations of aldehyde- and ketone-derived silyl enol ethers with acrylates is described. The use of the tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl group allows for unprecedented reactivity, yields, and selectivity for these cyclizations.
