  The present invention provides an oganosilicon compound possessing a .beta.-branched alkyl group or a .beta.-branched aralkyl group represented by Formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents methyl group or ethyl group; R.sup.2 represents C1-C18 alkyl group or aryl group.
