2-Oxoalkylated 1,4-naphthoquinones were obtained in the photochemical reactions of 2,3-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinone with 2-trimethylsiloxy-1-alkenes. Application of this method afforded a wide variety of functionalized 2-oxoalkylated 1,4-naphthoquinones.
