Inter- and intramolecular carbonylative coupling reactions proceed between alkynes possessing diphenylallylsilyl group mediated by dicobalt carbonyl complex under argon atmosphere. methylphenylsilylene, phenyl(trimethylsilyl)silylene, and mesityl(trimethylsilyl)silylene with allyl ethyl ether have been investigated. Irradiation of dodecamethylcyclohexasilane in the presence of allyl ethyl ether at 10°C afforded 2-ethoxy-1,2-dimethyl-1-silacyclopropane, while similar photolysis at 35°C gave allylethoxydimethylsilane.
