The aminofluorosilane [(CMe3)2MeSiNH]2SiF2 (1 is formed by treatment of SiF4 with (CMe3)2MeSiNHLi. The mono- (2) and dilithium (3) derivatives of 1 are obtained by treatment with Me3CLi. Treatment of 1 with four equivalents Me3CLi and THF gives the lithium(lithiosilyldiamide) 4, a salt with a cyclic (LiN2Si)− anion.
