    本发明涉及一种用于光学材料的硫氧环氧化合物及其聚合物组成物,可获得色彩良好、清晰、无白浊的高品质光学材料。在本发明中,提供了一种以环氧氯丙烷化合物为起始物质制备硫氧环氧化合物的方法,其中包括丙烯醛、烯丙基氯化物、1,2-二氯丙烷、2,3-二氯丙烯等特定杂质的总含量不超过1重量%的硫氧环氧化合物的制备方法。本发明通过调整环氧氯丙烷化合物中特定杂质的含量,可获得色泽较浅的硫氧环氧化合物,并可利用所得硫氧环氧化合物获得色彩良好、清晰、无白浊的高品质硫氧环氧光学材料。根据本发明获得的硫氧环氧光学材料可用于校准镜头、太阳镜、时尚镜片、变色镜片、相机镜头、光学设备镜头等,具有广泛的应用前景。
