  Two-electron reduction of RSbBr2 (1: R = C2H5; 2: R = n-C3H7; 3: R = n-C4H9) in tetrahydrofuran in presence of Bu4NPF6 followed by extraction with toluene has given the cyclic and polymeric organoantimony(I) compounds (RSb)n (n = 4, 5) and (RSb)x (x >> 5), which have been identified by H-1 NMR and mass spectroscopy. Mechanistic aspects are discussed.
