  二氟化氙依次对溶于无水 HF 的 Ir4(CO)12 进行氟化反应，首先生成新型中性络合物 mer- 和 fac-Ir(CO)3F3，并通过 19F、13C 和 13C{19F} 核磁共振光谱对其进行表征，最后生成[XeF][IrF6]。核磁共振光谱，最后得到[XeF][IrF6]。

  Tetrairidium dodecacarbonyl reacted with XeF2 in anhydrous HF solution at low temperatures via sequential fluorination yielding initially fac- and mer-[IrF3(CO)(3)] and finally IrF5. The novel 18-electron iridium carbonyl fluorides have been characterised by a combination of IR spectroscopy, C-13, C-13-F-19} and F-19 NMR spectroscopies and extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy studies in HF solution.
