The reaction of the perfluoromethyl compounds CF3PI2 and CF3AsI2 with secondary amines HNR2 yield the bis(dialkylamino)perfluoromethylphosphines and -arsines CF3P(NR2)2 and CF3As(NR2)2. The IR and NMR spectra are reported and discussed. The cleavage of the PN or AsN bond with acid molecules is described.
Dielectric phase transition of an A2BX4-type perovskite with a pentahedral to octahedral transformation
2 and compound 3 feature static two-dimensional (2D) and one-dimensional (1D) perovskite structures, respectively, it is striking that compound 1 shows a reversible pentahedral to octahedral transformation. It undergoes an above-room-temperature dielectric phase transition at Tc≅ 352 K, wherein the high dielectricconstant is more than twice the low dielectricconstant. Structural analysis shows that
X-ray and ultra-violet photoemission spectra have been measured to study the valence-band structures of piperidinium trihaloplumbates C 5 H 10 NH 2 PbX 3 [X = I, Br], which have natural nano-scale one-dimensional structures. The valence-band spectra of lead halides, which have the three-dimensional structures, are also reported for comparison. The partial densities of states related to the constituent
