抗阿米巴病药物——依米丁（又称吐根碱），对阿米巴大滋养体有直接杀灭作用，但对肠腔内的小滋养体和包囊无效。适用于治疗急性阿米巴痢疾及肠外阿米巴病，能够迅速控制临床症状，但难以达到根治目的。
