  Abstract 5H-[1,3,4]Thiadiazolo[2,3-d][1,2,4]triazin-5-ones were synthesized by cyclocondensation of 4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazin-3-ones with a variety of carboxylic acids in the presence of phosphorus oxychloride.
