In-situ-generated dialkylboroxy and diaminoboroxy Fischercarbenecomplexes lead to oxaborolane or oxazaborolidine derivatives via an intramolecularC−Hinsertionreaction. Further oxidation of these intermediates yields 1,3-diol or 1,2-amino alcohol derivatives.
