  The enzymatic acylation of certain omega-hydroxycyanohydrins protected a, the primary alcohol has been studied. The best enantioselectivities are obtained with Pseudomonas cepacia lipase (PSL-C) and Candida antarctica lipase A (CAL-A), for the omega-O-tritylated cyanohydrins.
