Ladder polysilsesquioxanes containing ammonium chloride and chiral groups as side-chains were prepared by solâgel copolycondensation of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and chiral organotriethoxysilane under acidic conditions, forming chiral conformations and hexagonal stacking structures.
