A surface tension of the lubricant agent lower than that of the gear implies an increase of water repellency and thus, an improvement of the capability of removing the water film forming between the snow and the bottom lining of the gear during the reciprocal movement. In fact, this water film increases the adherence of the bottom lining to the snow and reduces the sliding thereof.
Such lubricating action is achieved by the use of the compound having the described formula, pure or in a mixture.
