  New heterocyclically-substituted 4-amino-1,2,4-triazin-5-one compounds, herbicidal compositions containing them and their use as herbicides are disclosed. It is known that 1,2,4-triazionones, such as, for example, 4-amino-3-methyl-6-phenyl-1,2,4-triazine-5-one, can be used for combatting weeds, especially for selectively combatting weeds, from German Offenlegungsschrift (German Published Specification) 2,224,161. Their general herbicidal action is, however, not always entirely statisfactory, especially when low amounts and low concentrations are used.
