The reaction of (Pri2N)B(Cl)P(SiMe3)2 with (Pri2N)BCl2 in a 2:1 ratio resulted in the formation of a trigonal bipyramidal cagecompound P2(BNPri2)3 whose structure was determined by X-ray diffraction techniques.
