The absorption and CD spectral behavior of [CoOS(CH3)CH2CH2NH2}(en)2]3+ and [CoOSe(O)CH2CH2NH2}(en)2]2+ was discussed. The O-bonded seleninato isomer, Λ-(+)500CD-[CoOSe(O)CH2CH2NH2}(en)2]2+, showed racemization at the chiral selenium atom in an aqueous solution and a shift of the equilibrium between the (R) and (S) configurations of the chiral selenium atom through the protonation on the pendant
