  Palladium catalyzed reactions of neopentylidenesiliranes with unsaturated compounds have been studied. Two ring expansion products were obtained from the reaction of 1,1-dimesityl-2-Z-neopentylidenesilirane with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate, and their ratio was dependent on the nature of ligands on palladium.
