Directed Selenium–Iodine Halogen Bonding and Se···H–C Contacts in Solid Iododiisopropylphosphane Selenide
摘要:
Solid iododiisopropylphosphane selenide crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with one molecule iPr(2)P(I)=Se in the asymmetric unit. Halogen bonds of the type Se center dot center dot center dot I-P (Se center dot center dot center dot I, 3.612 angstrom; Se center dot center dot center dot I-P 171 degrees) connect the molecules to form polymeric chains (-Se center dot center dot center dot I-P-)(x), These are further connected by Se center dot center dot center dot H contacts (2.98 angstrom) involving the tertiary H atom from one isopropyl group. The extended structure thus formed is a layer parallel to 10 (1) over bar, and a substructure thereof consists of 10-membered (center dot center dot center dot Se center dot center dot center dot I-P-C-H center dot center dot center dot)(2) rings.
