  摘要：

  The question about conjugation between -C = C- and -SiMe2- groups in [-C = C - SiMe2 -]n with n = 4 and 5 has been investigated by AM 1 calculations which show strong conjugation. In the structure determination (AM 1, X-ray) and in the Raman spectra no significant differences to normal values are observed. The NMR Si - C = coupling constant and UV spectra are presented.
