A series of new heteronuclear derivatives of As(III) (R′)CHC(R″)OAl(OPr i )2, (2a–2e) has been synthesized by the reaction of mononuclear derivative AsLLH CHC(R″)OH(Ia—Ie)] R = (—CH2)2, R′ = ″ =—CH3(Ia & 2a), R = (—CH2)2, R′ =—C6H5, R″ =—CH3 (Ib & 2b), R = (—CH2)3, R′ R″ =—CH3, (Ic & 2c), R = (—CH2)3, R′ =—C6H5, R″ =—CH3 (Id & 2d), R = (—CH2)2, R′ = 4-ClC6H4, and R″ =—CH3 (Ie & 2e) with aluminium isopropoxide
