  The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns the use as perfuming ingredients of a 2,4-dialkyl-pyridine of formula (I): in the form of any one of its stereoisomers or a mixture thereof, wherein R 1 represents a C 1-3 alkyl group; R 2 represents a C 4-9 linear alkyl group; and the compound has between 10 and 15 carbon atoms. These compounds are useful for imparting odors of the green and/or pyrazine type.
