The chemical synthesis of 3′-deoxyadenyly-(2′-5′)-3′-deoxyadenylyl-(2′-5′)-3′-deoxyadenosine (30; trimeric cordycepin) is described by three different routes using various protecting groups and applying the phosphotriester approach.
