Synthesis and characterization of di- and tri-organotin(IV) dimethyldithiophosphinates

Di- and tri-organotin(IV) dimethyldithiophosphinates, R2Sn(S2PMe2)2 (R = Me, n-Bu, Bz, Ph) and R3SnS2PMe2 (R = Me, Cy, Bz, Ph) were prepared by treating the corresponding organotin chlorides with sodium dimethyldithiophosphinate.
