Abstract The compound Rh 8 Cd 43 has been synthesized and the structure has been analyzed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The fully ordered compound Rh 8 Cd 43 crystallizes in the rhombohedral space group R 3 ¯ m (166) and contains 306 atoms per unit cell.
