  It has been found that a mixture of (CF(3)O(0)2)(2)CH2 and (CF3SO2)(2)CBr2 can be used instead of (CF3SO2)(2)CHBr in the radical addition to H2C=CF2; the 1: 1 and 1:2 adducts have been isolated and characterized.
