    There is provided a superior decreasing method of an N-oxyl compound contained in an easily polymerizable material, according to which the N-oxyl compound contained in an easily polymerizable material can be sufficiently decreased and loss of the easily polymerizable material is little. The easily polymerizable material containing an N-oxyl compound and an acid are contacted with each other. In addition, not only the N-oxyl compound but also an organic titanium group compound contained in the easily polymerizable material can be sufficiently decreased.

    A method of forming a dental composite includes photopolymerizing a dental composition. The dental composition includes a free-radically polymerizable (meth)acrylate resin, 75 percent by weight or greater of filler particles, and about 0.005 percent to about 5 percent by weight of at least one polymerizable stable radical. The photopolymerizing forms the dental composite such that the dental composite has a flexural modulus of about 9500 MPa or greater and the polymerizable stable radical reduces shrinkage stress of the dental composite caused by the photopolymerizing by 10% or greater. A method of forming a dental composite composition includes combining a free-radically polymerizable (meth)acrylate resin, 75 percent by weight or greater of filler particles, and about 0.005 percent to about 5 percent by weight of at least one polymerizable stable radical to form the dental composite composition.

    Crosslinkable polymeric compositions for use in, for instance, cable insulation layers, comprise an ethylene-based polymer, an organic peroxide, a crosslinking coagent, and a methyl-radical scavenger comprising at least one derivative of 2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxyl (“TEMPO”), wherein ratio of crosslinking coagent to organic peroxide is less than 1.72:1 on a molar basis. A crosslinked article prepared from a crosslinkable polymeric composition is also disclosed, the crosslinkable polymeric composition comprising, inter alia, a methyl-radical scavenger comprising at least one TEMPO derivative. In addition, a coated conducttor comprising a conductive core and a polymeric layer at least partially surrounding the conductive core is disclosed, wherein at least a portion of the polymeric layer comprises the crosslinked article.
