    In a method for the immunological analysis of trace components by marking or labelling an antigen or antibody with a marker, an immune reaction is caused using an antigen or antibody marked with a fogging agent for silver halide, the labelled antigen or antibody is separated from the labelled antigen-antibody reaction product, the silver halide is developed in the presence of either one of the labelled antigen or antibody and the labelled antigen-antibody reaction product, and the density obtained is measured. The method is comparable to radioimmunoassay in having high reproductibility and sufficient sensitivity but does not involve any risk due to radiation.

    Synthesis of integral skinmicrocellular polyurethane elastomers by reacting hydroxyl-terminated aliphatic polyesters with symmetrical diisocyanates, prepolymers of these isocyanates such as derived form p,p'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and an aliphatic glycol and mixtures thereof, these are polymerized in the presence of an organic blowing agent, and one or more plasticizers such as of the formulae and further enhancement of the results is brought about by the presence of catalysts and cell regulating agents, such as dimethylpolysiloxanes; the obtained elastomers are useful, such as for shoe soles and in the manufacture of other products, e.g., vibration dampening devices, floatation devices, gaskets and the like.

    A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a substrate having a silver halide emulsion layer position thereon and a cyan dye forming coubler. The coupler is represented by the general formula (I): wherein R represents a substituted or nonsubstituted alkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group, X represents a group capable of releasing by an oxidative coupling reaction with a developing agent, and R' represents a substituted or nonsubstituted alkyl group or aryl group. The coupler of the invention can be easily dissolved in a high boiling point organic solvent and makes possible production of a light sensitive material having a high dye forming rate, high maximum color density and good fastness to light. Furthermore, the couplers prevent a large decrease in density when the bleaching solution utilized has a weak oxidation ability.

    A silver halide color light-sensitive material is described, which is increased in sensitivity, is adapted to form an image of high contrast, or is accelerated in development by incorporating a small amount of a specific compound which imagewise releases a foggant or a development accelerator. This compound is represented by the formula: Coup-(TIME)n-FA (wherein Coup represents a coupler radical capable of undergoing a coupling reaction with an oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; TIME represents a timing group which is eliminated from Coup by the coupling reaction and, thereafter, releases FA; n is 0 or 1; and FA represents a group which is eliminated from Coup in the coupling reaction when n is 0, whereas FA is released from TIME when n is 1. The FA has adsorption properties with respect to silver halide grains and also has a substantial fogging action with respect to the silver halide grains).
