The syntheses of isomeric diadamantylphosphinic acid chlorides are reported. By high-field two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy all proton and carbon-13 signals were identified and assigned unequivocally. Diastereotopism effects and the conformational behaviour of these compounds are discussed.
