The neutral rhodium complexes [RhCl(NHC)(cod)] (NHC = N-heterocyclic carbene) catalyzed the hydrosilylation/cyclization of 1,6-enynes and HSiR3 (R3 = Et3 and PhMe2) to form 2-methyl-1-silylmethylidene-2-cyclopentanes in high yields.
